I bought Tess shorts on sale at the end of last summer for a really good price and find that they have been my go to shorts all this summer. I was happy to see them on Amazon. The price is a bit steep but they are well made, fit me well, are the perfect length , and to top it all off .... travel well. They are shorts you can wear for days in a row because they hold their shape and don't wrinkle. I don't know if that makes sense. The one tiny thing that bugs me about both of my Tess shorts is the fly pulls just a little and bumps up ever so slightly. Probably they wouldn't do this if I sized up but then they would be too big everywhere else. The little bump isn't a deal breaker and no one would ever notice unless I showed it to them. It really isn't a big deal. Great shorts that move with you and look good.The fit in these shorts seems to run small compared to my other Prana shorts and pants. The shorts are cute and I love the blue color, you just might consider sizing up especially if you put your clothes in the dryer like me.These are great shorts. I am 5'8" and 118 lbs and the size 4 fits great. The inseam length (5") is PERFECT if you are over the age of 30 and also chasing a toddler around most of the time (and yes I fit into both of these categories...). The front and back pockets are REAL pockets so you can store your keys, phone, credit cards, whatever. I always throw these into the washer and dryer and they look good as new when they come out. I have these in white (which I do bleach occasionally) and in slate gray. Both colors are true to the pictures.I LOVE these shorts, great material and high quality make. Always love Prana. More and more I am finding that Prana tends to run big for me. I am 5'3'' and 115lbs, I usually wear a 26, 2, 3 or somewhere in there depending on brands. I ordered a size 2, and the waist is a size too big, though the legs have a good length and fit.I’m a little bit bigger than my normal size so this messed with my head a bit. I had to double check the tags. I ordered these bigger than my current size so I could wear them a little lower on my hips and loose. I got these shorts in the mail, I took off my perfectly fitting size 6 PrAna pants, and I could barely button these size 8 shorts. I’m returning and I won’t try sizing up because it’s too much hassle at this price.I got a pair of Prana hiking pants in a size 2, but when I ordered these in the 2 they fit a little bit bigger. They still look cute though. The red dye faded significantly after the first wash, leaving the seams very pale looking. Overall good shorts. Durable and work nicely for hiking/backpacking/lounging.I ordered my normal size, a size 0, and they're pretty loose. I need a belt to hold them up and I'm really not that small. They didn't shrink in the wash, keeping them anyway because they can be rolled up and are SUPER comfy for doing chores and run in errands around town. I love this company and their clothes, their size 0 usually fits me but for these are just slightly too big.Returning these shorts because the 3in inseam shorts are way too short. Theses are shorty shorts. I might order the longer ones. Great stretch and fabric though!nicest pair off f shorts I have ever owned. I diffinatly will be buying againVery comfortable easy wash shorts. Perfect for travel.
