These are sort of baggy like too much material around the waistBaleaf Women's 5 inch Hiking Shorts Quick Dry Shorts would be the perfect golf short if the rise was 1/2 inch longer. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The 91.2% Polyester, 8.8% Spandex material is cool, comfortable and wrinkle free. The pockets are deep with ample room for golf balls and tees which are usually lacking in most women's golf shorts. I usually wear a size 16 and sometimes a 14. I ordered the XL. For my size I do not have the most prominent butt cheeks so the center seam is ok but the back view would be much better I think if the inseam was just a little more giving. The 5 in length is very flattering on my athletic looking thighs and the elastic waist is comfortable. The great pockets make up for the less than perfect back inseam issue.
