I like these and the longer inseam. They look good and are made well. I think the problem is really my thighs and how they are shaped—LOL. I had to keep pulling them down and they are loose everywhere else; so this is the correct size for me. I think I just need to ditch shorts, period!1) The waistband is weird. It's all stretchy, and it reminds me of the stretchy panels on maternity jeans. There's a drawstring on the inside of the waistband. That drawstring is just placed at the top of the band - there's nothing anchoring it in place. So it tends to twist around, and I couldn't get a smooth look like on the model.2) The waistband is a different color than the shorts. I did see that in the product photos, but it looks more pronounced in person. I don't like it.3) The inner brief has elastic that is constricting around the leg openings. The brief itself actually fits loose, not snug. This is weird too, as it should fit either all the way loose, or snug like underwear. I'm going to have to cut these out if I keep these shorts.4) The pockets are on the smaller side. They'll fit keys, ID, or a lip balm fine. My phone, with the case on, measures 6.1 x 3". It does fit, but very snugly.The outer material of these shorts are great - thin, lightweight, breathable, not see through. Size is correct. I would not have changed the size I ordered.These are really nice shorts. They are made from thin athletic fabric that is comfy and breaths well. They fit great for me - very soft waist band and they don't ride up. The pockets are flat sewn and big enough for my iPhone 13 - tho it is a tight fit, it stays in secure with walking. I really like the length - they are 2" inseam but the flair cut lets them fit loose and flirty vs. long and boxy. They are short but they cover and keep everything covered when moving around. They wash well with not shrinking or warping or fading.
