I initially ordered two, khaki and dark gray. The khaki pair is perfect. The gray pair seems to be a different material in some way and is a bit scratchy, not as soft as the khaki pair. I went ahead and ordered another khaki and a light gray. Same thing happened except this time the khaki one was a rougher material and the light gray is softer and smoother. I love these shorts but now I have 2 soft and 2 rougher ones so I wish they could make them consistently of the softer material.I needed black shorts for work. The guidelines are strict. It was looking like I was going end up with thick shorts to work outside in the heat. These are thin and I would say comfy. I ordered my normal size and they were a little snug could have went up a size. That’s why I got one pair to see if I like them and how well they fit. I have order more!I play golf in these shorts in 100 degree weather and love them.The length of these shorts are perfect. Material is super soft with a little stretch. Quality is so good I returned my very expensive Prana Halle shorts because they were so similar in style. First ordered a size 4, but exchanged for a 6. Runs a bit small in the waist.Very comfortable love the fit & really like extra front pocket & has zipper closure to keep walletI really like the quality of these shorts - I'm glad I ordered one size bigger because these shorts run a bit small - I would recommend these shortsI typically wear between a size 6 and 8. I ordered the 8's but they were a little light around the waist and there is absolutely no give in the waist band itself. I found the from the waist to crotch to be short also. I'm long waisted but it often isn't a problem, it was with this pair of shorts. The material is very scratchy, perhaps it would become less so once washed. I was not at all happy with the fit of fabric.I ordered up a size because my waist is a bit thick (apple). I probably should have sized up two, as the shorts are a bit snug on my hips and thighs.I am normally a 14 and these shorts are probably about an 8 or a 10. Am disappointed because they are really cute and would be great for golf.
