I’m 5’4”, 170 lbs. and carry some extra belly weight as do a lot of 60 yr old women. My legs are very thin. I wear a L or XL in elastic waists and a 12-14 otherwise. I first ordered an XL as recommended, which stretched unflatteringly in the belly and gave me a camel tone if you know what I mean. So I ordered an XXL. Same problem and I was swimming in too much fabric. I’m disappointed because they are very well made and the fabric is extra soft (almost like a lightweight cotton though probably synthetic but with little stretch). Pockets are deep and would hold my cellphone securely. Length is flattering. I hesitate to not recommend them because this might be an isolated problem for my specific body type. I’d say it’s worth a try due to quality of fabric and design. Four stars due to that.I wasn't expecting much, but am pleasantly surprised. I love the fit. I carry weight in my belly and these shorts are slightly snug in the waist but fit my hips and thighs perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose. I normally have a hard time finding shorts that fit everywhere nicely and these are great. They are very comfortable and cool. I will be wearing these to my son's football games and in the almost year round hot FL weather. These can be dressed down with sneakers or a nice casual outfit also. I'm ordering more as we speak! I bought the xxl.My only minor complaints would be that the drawstring could be a little longer. Also the stitching in the back pocket of one pair of these shorts started coming out relatively quickly. Otherwise I have to say I love these shorts I have two pairs and I'm wearing them frequently. I would mention that I don't think they would hold up to rough use. If I'm working outside I wear something else.I like these but they are cheaper at WalmartThese shorts are the perfect solution for me when exercising at the gym. I wanted something other than the biking-type shorts (at least until I lose more weight), but something that would not gape open when doing floor work (e.g., crunches and other ab work). These leg openings fit closely enough to avoid gaping, without being skin tight. The material is cool when exerting and air dries quickly after washing. Also, I feel comfortable doing errands in them after exercising. I bought a second pair soon after seeing how much I liked the first pair, and I’ll probably get a third pair.I like the length and fit of these shorts. Since they fit so well I have ordered another color.I rest liked these shorts. The fit is pretty spot on to size which is nice when that happens. They are comfortable too. One thing I was surprised about is if you happen to get them wet they dry really quickly. Overall great shorts.I used these shorts to work at a summer day camp. Loved the fit. Material was cool & quick dry. I like them so much I got 2 pair.I have at least 10 pairs of these, they are my go-to shorts. I am bigger around the middle but the large size fits perfectly (I removed the drawstring). They never ride up or down, wash really well and are very comfortable. The white shorts are opaque enough not to show through any coloured underwear. I have had them for months and I would highly recommend them.Not sure to put that it fits as expected or really it’s small. So I read the reviews before buying, and the consistent feedback is to size up. So I’m usually a XS and I ordered an S. With that adjustment, it fits great. So do size up 1 size and you will be fine.I took the advice of other reviewers & went up a size. The white ones fit well and are very comfy but the dark & light grey ones are too tight in the waist. Not a deal breaker but a bit uncomfortableThe shorts are lightweight and very comfortable. Nice fabric and well made. Highly recommended. I bought another pair.Chilling and working out
